Recent Customer Review on Local Mover
This is a customer survey recently given to All My Sons Moving & Storage of Tulsa, Inc.
"To Whom it May Concern:
Your crew recently moved me from South Tulsa to Collinsville. I recently lost my husband to his long battle with cancer and now live alone. I chose your company because of your reputation and BBB rating. Ya'll didn't disappoint. The crew was very warm and considerate. They new I was on a fixed budget and still took really good care of me. They cleaned out his old office and brought everything to my new home. I can't say enough good things about your service and the professional manner of the crew. I liked them so much I invited them to dinner, although the refused because the boss had another move for them. Nevertheless, thanks for a quality move. I will tell all my friends at bingo the great service you provided."
Very Satisfied Customer.

Another Satisfied Customer
Recently the crew from All My Sons Moving & Storage of Tulsa moved a customer. It was a local move, full pack, load and deliver. The home was 6,200 sq ft and everything within this home was beautiful. This is what the customer wrote on her survey.
"The crew was well prepared. This is the first moving company that actually listened to what concerned me and did exactly what I requested for my move. I hate moving but really enjoyed the crew, all 6 of them. I mainly loved the crew leader Scotty. Everything was organized and it ended up being a little cheaper than estimated."
"I don't know how you could improve your service to others, but if you continue to provide this type of service, ya'll will never have complaints."
"I will definitely recommend and use you again. Thank you."
In the future, if you need local movers, we are the ones to call.

Understanding a Shipper's Moving Needs
Understanding the shipper's moving needs is first and foremost in order to have a safe, organized and successful move. It all starts with either visiting with the customer and viewing their shipment or asking the right questions over the phone.
It is always recommended to view the shipment. This ensures that we see and understand the specific needs the shipper has, such as: crating of specific pieces, exact packing needed, bulky items that need special equipment or manpower, size of the shipment, obstacles that may impede the crews progress, stairs, elevators, parking distance, long carrier, shuttle, and most importantly...finding out what the individual shipper is most concerned about or what is most precious to them.
Now it is not always possible for an on site estimate to be done. Due to timing, sometimes we must find out as much as we can over the phone. We always start off with the size of the home. This gives us a great indication of the amount of furniture, size of crew needed, and weight of shipment. We go further than that. We find out if they have what we call specialty items, such as: pool tables, trampoline, grandfather clock, large glass, marble, granite, plasma TVs, or antiques. These are all extremely important when it comes to estimating a job. We do this to know if we need crating for marble, glass, or granite. In addition, pool tables require 3rd party services to remove the slate, disassemble the table and then reassemble. Grandfather clocks require the pendulum and weights and require re-installation and resetting the clock at destination.
All these are extremely importing when estimating a move and understanding the specific needs each individual customer. We pride ourselves on understanding these specific needs in determining a fair and accurate estimate.

Moving Difficult Items
From time to time, we are requested to not only move normal furniture, but difficult, bulky, and heavy items. We handle these special items with a variety of different techniques. A few of these items we have encountered are: gun safes, super large refrigerators, grand and baby grand pianos, play houses, doll houses, and concrete patio furniture.
We use the appropriate tools such as piano boards, four wheelers, dolleys, and hump straps. We also ensure that we send the appropriate man-power.
We handle all furniture and furnishings with great care and custody.

Our Largest Move to Date
This winter we embarked on an office move that was very large. It was moving approximately 85,000 lbs. We made 12 trips over a 3 day period and spent the 4th day reassembling 61 offices, 3 conference rooms and a storage room and all the furniture inside. For the most part it was an extremely efficient and great move. The destination building was under construction still and the crews got stuck in the elevator twice. Once for about 1:45 minutes. Other than items like that, the shipper was extremely happy and has since referred us to several other customers.

July 4th Celebration
This 4th of July we are going to Skiatook Lake. The water is awesome, the beer will be cold and the fire works are tremendous. Nothing in the back ground other than large trees and watching the fireworks explode over the calm water of the lake doubles the effect. I strongly suggest you check it out.
Partnering
In Tulsa we deal with many of the Realtors in the area. A few we have come to know and deal with with frequency. JH Hausman Realtors, an agent for ERA, is one of the largest realtors in the area. We have partnered with them on many moves within the last year. They trust us so much that we have moved both owners and several employees of the company. We also have started partnering with Coldwell Bankers. We have successfully accomplished several moves for them in the last 6 months.

Recent Customer Review
All My Sons Moving & Storage of Tulsa, Inc., recently moved a family from Claremore, OK to Bixby, Ok. AMS packed, loaded and delivered my belongings with out a hiccup. The crew was extremely joyfull to be around. The move took a little bit longer than expected but that is probably because I didn't quite know where everything was going. However, I loved my crew and am very impressed with the work and professionalism of the young men. I will recommend you to everyone, thank you.

Summer Vacation
It has been so long ago that my family and me have taken a vacation. This summer we plan on doing something simple. Since my boys are getting a little older (5 and 3), we plan on going camping at Lake Tenkillers. It is in south-eastern Oklahoma. The start of the Ozark mountains. It is beautiful. We plan on getting a cabin right on the lake and start fishing, hiking, cooking and just getting away from the normal grind. With the hours we put in on a weekly basis in the Moving Industry, it would be nice to devote a few days to nothing but my family. Can't wait.

My Favorite Tulsa Restaurant
In Tulsa there are a lot of places to eat. But for me, one place stands out. That is Mahogony's. The place specializes in steak but they have much more. Let me start by telling you about my favorite dish and what I order every time. I start with the appetizer - grilled scallops. I should also add that the environment is classy and a bit dressy. They don't serve beer at all but do specialize in a variety of martini's with a specific focus on the "Chocolate Martini and the Sour Apple Martini", both are great. Then I move to the main course - 14 oz fillet topped with Alaskan king crab and a side of garlic mashed potatoes. Finish it off with a cheesecake topped with raspberry sauce.
This place is a bit pricey but well worth it.

Broken Arrow Oklahoma
If your moving to Tulsa, OK, there are several great areas to choose from. Right now, the fastest growing city in Oklahoma is....Broken Arrow. Broken Arrow started as a suburb of Tulsa. It is now really large. It has awesome neighborhoods, golf courses, places to shop and country living too. The best part about is it is only about 10 minutes from downtown Tulsa. The housing market is really nice. Prices are down and volumn is up. It is an excellent buyers market and Broken Arrow is an excellent place to live. Check out Broken Arrow .

Employee Spotlight
I would like to introduce our new operations manager, Brandon Walkup. Brandon has been with All My Sons Moving & Storage of Tulsa, Inc. for 18 months now. He started as a helper with us and eventually became our number 1 crew leader. He is extremely proficient with all types of packing, loading, storage, documentation. Brandon's greatest trait is leadership. Brandon leads by example. He is not the most vocal person, but is greatly respected by his peers and definitely by his customers. Brandon now handles the crews in the field during the afternoon shift and deals with new customers with regard to setting up estimates and booking new moves for future customers. Every office, no matter what business, needs a Brandon.

Craigslist
I know when moving to a new city you don't have a clue where anything is, who's here, or anything. Try checking out Craig's List . They have helpful hints such as the variety of local stores, land, services, and specific items. They also have a helpful question and answer section that can lead you to what you want.
